Video games are being released mostly every day, and sometimes we are getting overwhelmed with how much choices of games we wanted to play but barely get the games we play. There are times that we could not play the games we wanted to play due to limited hardware to run the game.

I always wanted to play Gears of War 4 and Halo 5, but I do not have an Xbox One or any Xbox Series hardware. If you suggest to play in on a PC, I am sorry but I use my PC as productive tool. Also, I wanted to play Nights of Azure 2 on the Nintendo Switch, but the system cannot handle the game. Best advice from a friend is to play that game on PlayStation4 instead.

What's a really popular game everyone LOVES but you don't like?

For this week, I still recommend the game Armored Core VI. I'm stuck at Chapter 3, slowly fighting my way to Chapter 4. As I mentioned[ last week](https://whatoplay.com/discuss/375/), it's a really cool game that makes you feel like you're Gundam pilot.

Recommend a Game (Sep 11 to 17, 2023)

As with last week, I still recommend Armored Core VI (PC). I've been playing it over the weekend and is very much stuck at the first boss (Balteus). I've wasted close to 3 hours trying to defeat it. The closest I got was <15% of its life left and this happened twice.

This week, I'll try different builds that will match my play-style. I'm gonna kill it soon!

Recommend a Game (Sep 4 to Sep 10, 2023)

There are soo many streamers right now and, at least for the most popular ones, they seem to have plenty enough people in their chats. Makes me wonder how many streamers avid viewers usually watch. I can only imagine following one or two myself, since streams go for very long hours. How about you guys?

How often do you guys watch live gaming streams?

I've played a lot of video games for the past few years, and I guess everybody has also noticed that some games have a lot of red flags. One thing I dislike about a game is if it relies too much on microtransactions. Some games offer it in order to give an edge to players who pay more, and this totally turns me off because it takes away my principle of playing a game fair and square.

For the vast number of games, we have bought in our lifetime, we all know that we each of us gamers have that special game that we always go back to. What game/s we always go back to when we just need that gaming fix. Some of you there go back to **PROJECT ZOMBOID**. Some are just wanting to hack their way back to Hyrule and play **HYRULE WARRIORS: AGE OF CALAMITY**. And others just want to play **DOTA 2** and make it a day.

For me, I always play **STREET FIGHTER 2: HYPER FIGHTING EDITION**. Every Street Fighter fan knows the game, and most of them go back to play this game because of their root history of the game. What game do you always go back to?

Ever since I got an iPad, I've been preferring to play mobile games on it than on my phone.  But there are just games that I prefer playing on a smaller screen.

A few I enjoy more on my phone are: **finity. ,  satisgame, like dino!,** and **nekograms**

How many hours of a week do you spend playing?

Hi guys, how are you, I've been searching some games recently, but idk what to play, I've got some ideas but I haven't decided anything yet.

Recently I've just finished cyberpunk 2077 and the dlc, what a game, I really enjoyed it, I'm searching games with a great story telling, rpg features, open world and also action, games that I can really enjoy and feel immersed in them; for example I've played Nier replicant and automata, the horizon series, tlou 1 and 2, rd2, I've also played rpg like Bloodborne, I'm finishing sekiro, ds3 and just started elden ring, but I'd like something more "chill" than those.

We are a month away from the end of 2023 and we are still getting a lot of game releases this year. A lot of users here at WhaToPlay love to post review games. Some of us here love to collect video games either physically or digitally. A few of us are just glancing with envy on whether we can get that game and play it, or not.

BUT.....

all of us are waiting for that video game sale prices to go down. Yes of course we love cheap games! Who doesn't?

But that's not my the topic of my question. I want you answer this truthfully. Of all the games you have owned, played, reviewed, or bought, how many games have you finished it from the beginning of the game to the end credits? I bet most of us did not finish more than 10.

We're finally back!

The past two months have been a tumultuous time for us here in whatoplay. Desperate to plug leaks in our finances, we made the painful decision to shrink our staff to the very bare minimum. This meant having to abandon our tradition of sharing weekly game recommendations.
