Starship Troopers - Terran Command
PC7.00
In the end, Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a great game that gets the point across perfectly in a straightforward manner. It packs a lot of fun, explosions, heroes, and a swarm of bugs.
Neon White
PC9.00
Neon White is an exceptional shooter brimming with style and substance in equal measure. The core mechanics are extremely polished and encourage you to get better through repetition, and practice. Despite my early reservations, the characters grew on me as the story progressed, and White is a pretty likable protagonist. Expertly designed levels, Machinae Girl’s OST, and the slick presentation make Neon White a worthwhile experience that you won’t put down easily.
Kao the Kangaroo
PS47.00
The forced insertion of associating everything with Australian culture, inconsistent and sometimes infuriating gameplay and the very weak story are only a few of the complaints I have, but if you are a fan of platformer adventure titles, and can turn your brain off at certain parts and just enjoy the game as a videogame, there is some fun to be had here.
Floppy Knights
PC7.00
That’s Floppy Knights, is a good game with a solid foundation for its deckbuilding mechanics, and everything ties nicely with each other. From the joyful graphics to the melodic sound design and its snappy gameplay. It’s not a revolutionizing game by any means, but it’s still a solid game nonetheless.
Evil Dead: The Game
PS49.00
Evil dead is a solid game that is loyal to the original source material. It offers a lot of versatility and a good mix of content for newcomers and fans alike. Gamers will enjoy playing with friends as a breath of fresh air comes to the 4v1 genre. It’s a game worth giving a shot if you’re looking to add a new game to your mix with friends.

Gibbon Beyond the Trees is an action-adventure game that follows the story of a lost gibbon through the jungle and civilization.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising
PC8.00
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a 2.5D action RPG with town-building mechanics and is a prequel to the Kickstarter game, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
Trek to Yomi
PC7.00
Trek to Yomi is a stunning game, that goes above and beyond to pay homage to one of cinema’s greatest. It doesn’t shy away from depicting the brutality of war and each frame is full of details to create a grounded, and beautiful world. Despite its impeccable presentation, Trek to Yomi’s combat, and uneven boss fights get in the way of true greatness. It’s still worth experiencing for its visuals, and audio alone, with some caveats attached when it comes to gameplay.
The Serpent Rogue
PC8.00
The Serpent Rogue gives a new breath of fresh air in the RPG genre where its main focus is item crafting and exploration while slightly steering away from fighting creatures and minus the character level-up mechanics.
Chernobylite
Xbox Series X|S8.00
All in all, Chernobylite is a great game that offers a lot and makes you do a lot to enjoy it, but fans who enjoy a challenging experience and revel in immersing themselves in a world similar to that of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will find themselves right at home.
Winter Ember
PC8.00
Winter Ember is an isometric stealth game that provides a new take to the genre. It has a unique story that gets you hooked. Action sequences are excellent but walking through darkness and evading enemies make it shine the most. There are hiccups with its controls and interaction, yet it ticks the right boxes for hours of fun playtime.
B.I.O.T.A.
PC7.00
B.I.O.T.A. gives a great modern remake to retro gaming. Though the game isn't really built for long sessions due to some palettes giving away a bit of a headache the longer you play, its immersion is just enough for you to enjoy the game.
THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD: Remake
Switch8.00
Overall, the game had a very stable and steady performance in handheld and docked mode. It was a blast to play by myself and with friends who had never played a rail shooter before. If you have previously played rail shooters at any capacity and are looking for a fun game to play with another friend (unfortunately the game only has 2 player coop).
FixFox
PC6.00
Fixfox sets out to be this fun and exciting adventure game that revolves around fixing broken devices throughout your journey, however, the gameplay is not captivating enough to push me to keep playing the game.
Weird West
PC9.00
Weird West is an excellent immersive sim that treats players with respect to not only make decisions but live with them. It features an unpredictable world full of danger, mystery, and ultimately, salvation. The overarching narrative with multiple characters ends on a satisfying note leaving possibilities for so much more. It’s brought down by bugs, both big and small that break the illusion of the aforementioned choice, and freedom both in gameplay and narrative.
A Memoir Blue
PC7.00
A Memoir Blue is a memorable narrative adventure that takes players on a very personal journey through time. Its combination of 3D models, with hand-drawn animations, creates a fascinating world rich with dense atmosphere and touching moments. The lack of gameplay variety is disappointing, but enough interactivity keeps you engaged through its short runtime. Miriam’s relationship with her child-self, and mother is explored beautifully without any need for dialogue or exposition.
Star Chef 2
Android6.50
Star Chef 2 is an addictive management sim that lets you grow your restaurant business with tons of customization. While the gameplay is simplistic, it’s still fun to see your workplace expand with new systems organically introduced. The game’s monetization is concerning, however, where artificial timers are constantly introduced in each new mechanic. The presentation is decent but doesn’t do enough to stand out amongst various other titles in the same genre.
Ghostrunner - Project_Hel
PC8.00
Project Hel is a great addition to the Ghostrunner universe and gives fans an excuse to jump back in. Hel is a killing machine with a new set of abilities and extended traversal. While the story is the weakest link again, there’s nothing better than playing as a ruthless combat android in the beautifully rendered world of Dharma.
Phantom Breaker: Omnia
PC7.20
Phantom Breaker: Omnia is a refreshing take when it comes to new fighting game releases in 2022. This game got me reminiscing about the days when I was playing Tekken/Street Fighter in the arcade. There’s also a hint of Soul Calibur vibes in Phantom Breaker: Omnia.
Submerged: Hidden Depths
PC8.00
Making this Submerged Hidden Depths review was an exploration into a calming side of gaming rarely visited. The hyper-focus on violence, shooting, hacking, and slashing in games is always prevalent. The other extreme sees simple games that might be targeted towards a younger audience and rarely does a game balance these extremes so well.
Aztech Forgotten Gods
PC7.00
Aztech Forgotten Gods is a fun action-adventure game set in a futuristic Mesoamerican city. The visuals are great – not the best in its class – but more than enough to immerse you into the game. Pacing is a little slow yet it is the perfect mix of story, action, and lore.
What Lies in the Multiverse
PC8.70
What Lies In The Universe is a fun, exciting, and reasonably short adventure and puzzle-filled game. It explores the idea of exploring multiverses and contains a light-hearted story with some dark surprises packed in.
Hero's Hour
PC7.00
There are tons of strategies in Hero’s Hour and I feel like I barely scratched the surface. I really enjoy watching armies battle it out despite its steep learning curve at the beginning. But you’ll get the hang of it after hours of playing it.
ELEX II
PC7.70
ELEX II reels you in an immersive chaotic planet where you try and unite different factions against a new breed of invaders. Despite its stiff combat mechanics that we’re not used to anymore because other games have set the bar in this category, it truly is a huge improvement from its predecessor. Try not to die from fall damage once your jetpack fuel runs out.
Shadow Warrior 3
PC8.50
Shadow Warrior 3 is a fantastic shooter that shows a great sense of focus. Its creative enemy designs, excellent progression, tight pacing, and satisfying combat continue to keep the series fresh. Lo Wang is better than ever and managed to make me laugh more than once. It’s held back by occasional bugs in both combat and traversal, but nothing that was too detrimental to the experience.
