Apple 'N' Apps
NBA 2K17 is the best sports simulation on iOS which delivers a complete basketball experience for touch devices. The iOS version doesn’t rival the console counterpart, but fully stands by itself as a worthwhile experience that is a must have in the App Store.

All of the action is presented with a design aesthetic that nails the classic Greek art style. The best part is that each time you lose, it feels like you can do better with subtle adjustments. One problem is that it’s a bit tedious to activate or switch the current power for every single move. Enyo is a compelling strategy game that is well worth picking up.
Samorost 3 delivers an immersive iOS experience that is a must have on the platform.
Super Powerboy is a well-produced and engaging platformer adventure that is well worth picking up.
The one drawback is that the game is on the easy side to the point that you can just be going through the motions at times. The main reason is because the game emphasizes the exploration idea of allowing you to flow through the world. It would be nice to see a little more challenge, but it’s clear to see that doesn’t go with the design idea. It’s a bit bland, but a neat journey, none the less.
Solitairica delivers a familiar style that is built into a thoroughly challenging and fresh experience that is well worth picking up.
Riptide GP: RenegadeiOS
Riptide GP Renegade delivers one of the best arcade racing experiences on iOS whether it’s on land, air, or sea making it a must have.
Space Marshals 2iOS
Through it all, it’s an iOS game that you will want to play through in its entirety, and you will enjoy the entire journey. Space Marshals 2 delivers a deluxe iOS experience that is highly enjoyable, and a must have.
The game isn’t really challenging beyond dealing with the rudimentary attack system. Once you deliberately choose to frantically tap the attack button, and focus on attack upgrades between levels, you’re just going through the motions. Also, the game doesn’t let you save your upgrades between rounds, so there’s no real sense of progress. Journey Below has a promising outlook that comes in below standard, making it one to skip.
It’s simply en enjoyable puzzle mechanic that introduces subtle variations as you go with more complex shapes to unfold across a landscape with new gaps to traverse. Outfolded is a well thought out puzzle challenge that will keep you entertained for awhile.
Leap of FateiOS
The game isn’t without its problems with one in particular being that it’s tough to see when your character takes damage sometimes. Also, the special abilities take a tick longer to activate, and in that time you can take damage. The levels can blend together a bit as you run around shooting at enemies, and you start at the beginning each time. The different characters do change things up, but you still have a six level structure to complete no matter who you play as. Through it all, you’re given a really well designed arcade shooter with a lot of details to appreciate as you’re consistently attacking. Leap of Fate delivers an engaging shooter experience that is well worth picking up.
Deus Ex GOiOS
Deus Ex Go is simply a thoroughly engaging puzzle challenge that stands on its own, and does the series proud to deliver more of a great stye with quality augmentations.
Legend of the SkyfishiOS
The game presents action sequences that don’t always allow for the time required to get the fishing hook right. You may loose some hearts with the set up, but the game is still an enjoyable adventure with well thought out level design. It’s not the most complex adventure you will come across, but it’s a compelling experience.
Eisenhorn: XENOS is an advanced creation for the iOS platform that isn’t without its flaws, but is still well worth picking up for the deluxe experience it provides.
Reigns is an amazing experience that will keep you intrigued for a long time to come making it a must have iOS game.

Severed is simply an immersive piece of entertainment that is a must have on the iOS platform.
It’s great to have the old school arcade challenge repurposed into a new touch based style. Even though you move at high speeds, you also need to think a little in how Blitz will move, and react after a dash ends. There are times you have to be a bit deliberate with your swipes, but that’s the exception, not the rule. Blitz Breaker is a well designed arcade challenge that is well worth picking up.
Jurassic GO - Dinosaur Snap AdventuresiOS
Jurassic GO delivers a great game with a strong paywall, but turning it into a paid app alleviates the main concern. The new dinosaur theme of Jurassic GO is great, and it’s executed very well. The only change that would be nice in Jurassic GO is the inclusion of a dedicated shutter button. Currently, you have to tap within the viewfinder, and there are times you miss the right moment as the game can think that you’re panning the view or pinching to zoom. Beyond that, it’s simply a highly enjoyable experience to capture the dinosaurs moving about at just the right moment to frame up the objective photos. Jurassic GO is a great iOS experience that is well worth picking up.
Road Not TakeniOS
The only real drawback is that it can be a bit tedious to swipe to move each square on the board, and there can be some miss taps when trying to grab and throw items. That set-up fits with the standard Zen puzzle idea, but is more frustrating when trying the timed mode. Road Not Taken delivers an engaging puzzle style with a compelling adventure set-up that is well worth picking up.
