Please, Touch the Artwork 2 is Now Out for Free!

Fans of Please, Touch the Artwork rejoice!

The sequel to the popular hidden-object just made its debut. And anyone can play it for free.

Developer Thomas Waterzooi on Feb. 19 released Please, Touch the Artwork 2 on multiple platforms. These included PC, Android, and iOS devices. In celebration of the game's launching, players can get the game for free.

"There are no ads, no hidden fees, and no paid DLC – just a free game to savor at your own pace," portions of the game's press release stated.

Please, Touch the Artwork 2 was developed with the help of the Flemish Government.

Its creation coincided with the occasion of the Belgian EU Presidency 2024 and the 75th anniversary of James Ensor's passing. As a result, developers decided to make the game free for everyone to learn more about the Belgian painter's life and masterpieces.

"The game will be 100 percent free in honour of the 75th Anniversary of Ensor’s death, so there is no reason not to wishlist," Waterzooi wrote on Steam.

Unlike its predecessor, players in Please, Touch the Artwork 2 get to interact with artworks based on real artists.

The game featured masterpieces from James Ensor, who is considered a pioneer in the Modern Art movement in Belgium. It allowed players to explore Ensor's iconic paintings while engaging in hidden-object adventures.

Please, Touch the Artwork 2 contained five, unique worlds filled with Ensor's artworks. In it, players need to assist a wandering skeleton artist in navigating a surreal, hand-painted universe. At the same time, they must also collect hidden objects for their quirky inhabitants.

"Help quirky characters retrieve lost items and restore gaps in the paintings in a game that transforms art appreciation into a short, fun-filled journey," the game's description reads. / ###
