Top-Down Roguelike OTXO Coming To Consoles This March

The PC noir shooter is set to release on PlayStation and Switch late next week.

This was confirmed by developers Super Rare Games and Lateralis Heavy Industries. Pronounced "oh-cho", OTXO will launch on PS5, PS4, and Switch on March 28.

In OTXO, players navigate a decrepit mansion filled with horrors. The aim is to save a long-lost loved one while battling hordes of monsters. A unique Focus mechanic aids players in combat by slowing down time.

The mansion has a vast network of 150 handcrafted rooms. In every run, players go through the rooms at random, ensuring a unique playthrough every time.

Exploration is key in OTXO, as players uncover secrets the deeper they go.

To survive, players must master upgrading and customizing their loadouts. They can choose from a vast array of weapons and over 100 unlockable abilities.

“As the walls are stained red throughout the mansion, players will unveil hidden secrets, and maybe even their own forgotten past.”

The game's soundtrack, composed by the developer, accompanies its intense shootouts.

OTXO will be available on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop with a 20% launch discount.

OTXO first launched on PC in April 2023. It has received over 2,000 'Very Positive' reviews and a playscore of 8.8.
