Launch Date for Italian Souls-like Enotria: The Last Song Revealed

Creators of the souls-like RPG Enotria: The Last Song just unveiled the launch date of the much-anticipated indie title.

Italian studio Jyamma Games confirmed that Enotria: The Last Song will make its debut this August 21. The indie game developer made this announcement during the Future Games Show held last March 21.

The upcoming indie game will be playable on PC and PS5.

However, Jyamma Games also said they will no longer push through with their plans for an Xbox Series X|S Version of Enotria: The Last Song. This is to give the team more time to focus and 'ensure a superior experience' for PC and PS5 players, said Giacomo Greco, Jyamma Games CEO.

In the meantime, Jyamma Games also announced that they will soon roll out a demo version of Enotria: The Last Song. The demo's opening date has yet to be revealed.

"We are confident they (players) will be enamored with it, and this will also provide us with valuable feedback from players worldwide," said Greco.

It can be recalled that Jyamma Games initially wanted to release the upcoming PS5 game this June 21. But following Bandai Namco's move to launch Shadow of the ErdTree, the expansion pack of The Elden Ring’, on the same date, the indie studio decided to postpone it.

Another game that recently had its release date adjusted is Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. It will be released a week earlier on June 14, 2024.

Meanwhile, the extra time allowed developers to transition from Unreal 4 to Unreal 5 technology. It also enabled them to do some fine-tuning and improvements for Enotria: The Last Song.

Presently, they have managed to create three main regions and over 100 enemies. In total, these assets amount to more than 40 hours of gameplay.

Jyamma Games also promised to deliver diverse builds and weaponry for Enotria: The Last Song. The game, in development, already has 68 skills, 30 masks, 120 weapons, 30 stats modifiers and more than 45 spells.

"(All of these expand) the possibilities beyond anything seen before," said Greco. / ###
