The Dude from the chaotic but highly rated mobile game is back! And this time he has a demon-slaying boomerang.
Developers from South Korean studio SuperPlanet confirmed launching Boomerang RPG: Watch out, Dude! on March 19. The sequel to the popular mobile game Missile Dude RPG is now available on iOS and Android devices.
Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude! picks up where its predecessor left off. Similar to the first game, Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude! combines the elements of action and idle-hero. Its creators described it as a 'unique blend of quirky humor and exhilarating action.'
Players once again will take control of the laid-back, protagonist Dude, the hero of Dude World. However, peace is once again interrupted in the Dude World. Old, demonic forces have returned to wreak havoc.
In turn, players will have to guide Dude in defending Dude World, with the aid of his trusty boomerang. The boomerangs themselves are one of the key highlights of the game. Each has its own unique power and special effects.
Players can unlock boomerangs that spark firestorms, rain down meteors, or even heal the Dude during battle.
SuperPlanet also introduced more customization options, including 'funny-looking costumes'. This means the Dude can go into combats while wearing a sunny-side-up egg on his head. In addition to their aesthetics, the costumes can also enhance Dude's abilities, developers confirmed.
Furthermore, Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude! comes with a companion system. The new feature will enable the Dude to team up with other powerful characters. These companions can fight alongside the Dude. Players can collect and upgrade these companions to create the demon-slaying squad.
In the meantime, SuperPlanet has rolled out a week-long in-game event in celebration of Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude! This means players can get their hands on free exclusive items and resources for a limited time. / ###
