Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, the new supernatural horror from Focus Entertainment and DON'T NOD, just dropped a new trailer. This time, it is a seven-minute gameplay overview that reveals more details about the game.
French video game publisher Focus Entertainment published the latest video trailer on September 19. And it provided a detailed look at the game's narrative and world. It also showed some never-before-seen gameplay.
Within seven minutes, creators showcased the game's combat system. The video showed the protagonists Antea and Red's abilities to banish the souls that torment the living.
The trailer also highlighted thought-provoking choices players will encounter in the game. And each action will dramatically impact the story and the challenges players face.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden's gameplay overview was released weeks ahead of its debut this November 7. The game can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
It takes place in the world of New Eden, which is plagued with supernatural creatures and ancient secrets. The new trailer also showed players its diverse environments, from bustling cities to dark forests.
The game tells the story of two Banishers, Antea Duarte and Red Mac Raith. As experienced spirit hunters, they are sent to New Eden to lift a mysterious curse and solve haunting cases. However, after an ill-advised attack, Antea is killed and becomes one of the ghosts she loathes.
In turn, players must now decide whether to honor their oath to protect the living from malicious spirits. Or sacrifice the living in a desperate bid to bring their beloved back.
In the meantime, Focus Entertainment has also announced two exclusive editions of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. These are the Red Echoes Edition and the Collector's Edition.
The Red Echoes Edition contained limited-edition items and the 'Wanderer Set' DLC. On the other hand, the Collector's Edition included the DLC, a modular statuette of Red and Antea, the game's official artbook, a Steelbook®, and two Banishers signet rings.
