While a good Hack and Slash is hard to find these last few years, Warhammer Chaosbane PS4, PC, and Xbox One give their players tons of content, exciting action, and most importantly endless repeatability. The most important thing about an H&S game is re-playability, naturally. It looks great, the models are nicely rendered, and the animations and abilities will do enough to impress anyone. All in all, it is a fun game and recommended to all owners of the mentioned platforms.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is a cool ARPG that would have been better if it wasn't a current gen game but unfortunately, we're not in 2005 anymore. For all of its flaws, the combat system is still well done yet the problem is that it feels like a bare minimum product. The fact that there are no optional missions and only a few bosses and different kinds of enemies makes it get repetitive very quickly.
Whilst not quite as deep, varied, or refined as its widely acclaimed contemporaries, Warhammer: Chaosbane still manages to serve up a solid ARPG that packs quite a punch. The game plays well, looks good, and sports heaps of replay value across the board. Despite the odd issue with its combat diversity and its poor voice work, fans of both the genre and the source material will no doubt thoroughly enjoy what’s on offer.
