Velocity G

Velocity G is a mixed bag of pros and cons. On the one hand, it’s accessible, it handles pretty well, and it’s got a shed-load of races to take to. On the other hand, it’s got little mechanical depth, its track design is overly repetitive, and its visual and audio presentation is substandard at best. Overall, it’s a valiant effort on the developer’s part, but at a time in which futuristic racers are on the rise, despite its cheap cost, it’s wide of the mark.

Velocity G sú úplne štandardné futuristické preteky, ktoré v každom aspekte využívajú to, čo sme mohli vidieť už vo viacerých hrách. Jazda na vznášajúcich sa strojoch, v tuneli a s možnosťou zbierať rôzne dočasné power-upy alebo zbrane nie je ničím originálna a iba recykluje už zabehnuté štandardy. Plochú hrateľnosť, našťastie, dokážu aspoň sčasti zachraňovať nové okruhy s každým vyšším levelom. Na druhej strane, za cenu 4€ dostanete hru, ktorá vám prinesie desiatky výziev na približne desať hodín, čo nie je vôbec zlé.
