This game will be a true treat to all people who appreciate a good challenge and for those who are satisfied with overcoming the obstacles. For them, this game will be highly rewarding and ultimately fantastic. On the other hand, we wouldn’t be surprised to hear it was too hard for some people to see it through the end.
Indie titles are always a joy to play because they take certain creative risks that AAA’s typically wouldn’t. Teslagrad is one of those gems that I never would have picked up on my own but I’m immensely glad I had a chance to play. This is a near perfect platformer that deserves much praise for the artistic visual medium it presents. Gameplay flows like water and the pacing keeps you wanting more, if this is the first title released from Rain Games I will definitely be keeping an eye out for further titles from this developer.
Exploring the mysterious Telsa Tower and its non-linear surroundings was an adventure, but the game's method of visual storytelling just wasn't my cup of tea. However, if you like no disruptions like loading screens, cutscenes, or dialogue then Telsagrad might just be for you. I want to interact with other characters and become immersed in a marvelous story, and Telsagrad just wasn't doing that for me.
