On the other hand, there’s a Saved By the Bell/High-School Musical positivity that drags the whole thing forward, and I can assure you that you’ll grow to love this confectionery box of stereotypes. It’s closer to the worst visual novel than it is the best, but it gets marks for ‘working out’, as it at least tries new things. Just don’t pick Max, I beg you.
Roommates on the Xbox One does feel like you are playing through a teen/young adult sitcom, but that comes with all the negative tropes around that too – unlikable characters, cheap laughs, and not likely to stay with you after completion. It has two playable characters with multiple romance options each to encourage replayability, but each playthrough will be identical, even between characters.
