In 1802, the merchant ship Obra Dinn set out from London for the Orient with over 200 tons of trade goods. Six months later it hadn't met its rendezvous point at the Cape of Good Hope and was declared lost at sea. Early this morning of October 14th, 1807, the Obra Dinn drifted into port at Falmouth with damaged sails and no visible crew. As insurance investigator for the East India Company's London Office, dispatch immediately to Falmouth, find means to board the ship, and prepare an assessment of damages.

Return of the Obra Dinn is a rare example of art, sound, design, and story all intersecting and making for a game that wouldn't be the same without each special quality working in tandem. And it’s a game I can’t help but madly recommend to everyone who may wash up on this site’s shores. With gripping game design shored up by fantastic visuals and stimulating storytelling, Return of the Obra Dinn solidifies Lucas Pope as a game-craftsman of remarkable talent.
Return of the Obra Dinn is a work of genius, providing an engrossing detective game drenched in ambition and detail. You’ll spend hours trying to solve the mysteries surrounding the crew’s death, and whilst it can be arduous doing so, you’re never left bored. There’s no doubt this is one of the best games I’ve played this year, and thankfully those who didn’t get to play it on PC last year can now do so on console. I can’t believe I missed this first time around – don’t make the same mistake I did.
Return of the Obra Dinn es un juego con una narrativa excelente. El jugador debe utilizar la deducción lógica y atender a los recuerdos que presencia para deducir el destino de todos los pasajeros. Lucas Pope vuelve a lucirse con una experiencia única.
