Despite plenty of issues, A Knight to Remember isn't a terrible start to the adventure, just a rather unnecessarily tedious one. If The Odd Gentlemen can increase the overall game speed and introduce some smarter puzzles, future chapters could indeed be a lot of fun.

The things that The Odd Gentlemen have gotten right are very, very right; they just happen to be severely bogged down by some technical and executional missteps. Here's hoping as the story continues that, like the future Sir Graham, King's Quest stays sincere and silly while growing just a bit more competent.

I could go on and on about how much I love Kings Quest, so I will. King’s Quest is the surprise hit of 2015 so far. Chapter one is filled with so many exciting moments, fun puzzles, hilarious characters, and a unique sense of awe and fantasy. I felt like I was in a wonderfully animated cartoon based on a classic series and I couldn’t stop smiling or laughing the entire time.
