Storm Island is a concept I got behind, but felt like it could have been more. Where is my lightning and thunder crashing down? I want some tropical storm-level insanity to race in. Still for those looking for more Forza Horizon 2 there is plenty to be found in this pack. Just know it doesn’t stray far from the original game at all.

The Storm Island DLC is not included with the seasons pass, but at 20 bucks it is a pretty good value for Horizon junkies; others may want to wait for a sale or some kind of bundle. As a bonus for VIP members, the DLC comes at 50% discount. In the end there is really no excuse not to pick this content as you will enjoy many of the features found in Forza Horizon 2’s core game, but in the new Storm Island setting. Now go on, get that truck or car dirty!

Forza Horizon 2: Storm Island is going to be an absolute no-brainer for fans of the game. The new content is well-constructed, but the big noises being made about the new race types are a little bit overblown for our liking. The new weather is good but not necessarily as varied as it could have been, and the event types could have been more outlandish. However, there's absolutely no doubt that Playground’s island adventure extends an excellent game by more than enough hours to justify the price of the ticket.
