The Call of Duty downloadable content season is off to yet another solid, albeit a tad underwhelming start. “Havok” comes across as more of the same old featuring four maps, a new weapon and an Exo Zombie mode featuring the likes of John Malkovich and Bill Paxton. Sledgehammer has not strayed from the classic CoD DLC formula. They have taken a conservative, safe approach with this map pack. This however should be enough to keep all those CoD fans happy until the next batch of DLC drops.

Advanced Warfare has kept the core Call Of Duty gameplay intact, merged it with a couple of new innovations and the result is a fun but strangely familiar experience. But it isn’t going to be the industry revolution that Modern Warfare managed to become, so only time will tell if it has the legs to compete with the likes of Titanfall and Destiny.

Zombie modes have the tendency to come out of the gate slowly, and although the first map doesn't have any real "out there" concepts, it's more than enough for those of you who still want more of the undead. The maps alone in the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Havoc DLC are an average affair, but Exo Zombies rises this package slightly above the cut. I love the new cast, the Exosuits makes a world of difference, and I'm digging the Hollywood cheese of the story.
