Whether you’re looking to add a couple of classics that you’ve already had the pleasure of playing to your library, or if you’ve missed out on either one of these titles, they’re definitely still worth playing. My personal opinion is that Bayonetta holds up a little better than Vanquish, but both are pretty much still timeless modern classics. With the whole package you’ll get a diverse gameplay offering with the unique combination of style and substance that Platinum Games has become known for.

The duo of Platinum-developed titles in the Bayonetta and Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle are at the zenith of their respective genres because of their undying commitment to responsive controls and deep, rewarding gameplay mechanics. Playing these titles does not get stale and while it is frustrating that Sega refused to celebrate these classic games with more extras and additional content, they do stand on their own merits even a decade later.

All things considered, Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is a must-have, especially for those who haven’t yet played either of these stunning games. It goes a long way in bringing two of the last generation’s best games visually up to date, and their gameplay hasn’t aged a bit. In fact, thanks to 60fps and up to 4K visuals, it’s better than ever before.
