If you are looking to play a game to get the experience of multiplayer while not actually being online, this may be the game you’ve been looking for. While the fun of giant robot battles may draw you in, the multiplayer experience will keep you coming back to this title. Even with all its problems, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen ranks up there with most worthy movie-based games.
The controls and lacklustre level design are the biggest problems you'll have to overcome in order to enjoy Revenge of the Fallen. If you can manage that you'll find a enjoyable, if rather basic shooter. If you're not a mega fan you're probably better off giving this a miss.
Actually, that pretty well describes the ideal audience for Revenge of the Fallen in general. If you're just a regular Joe looking for a great action game, you could do better. But if you've still got a special place in your heart for the Transformers series--despite what Michael Bay may have done to it in recent years--the game is fun enough to be worth taking a look at.
