Fire Pro Wrestling on Xbox Live Arcade is the most basic of wrestling games. Flat, featureless, and simplistic, it is devoid of any redeeming qualities found elsewhere such as replay value or fun. What could have been a cool, cartoon-y version of a classic franchise is but a wasted shell of its former self.
Fire Pro Wrestling is for my dad and other people who love seeing their Miis and avatars doing wacky things. They don't mind dropping a few dollars for the opportunity to pit their friends against each other in a neighborhood royal rumble.
As amusing as it can be, it's really just a janky wrestling game with avatars stapled on for maximum stupidity. This is a game that either needed to be way simpler, or way more complicated, because the middle ground stinks.
