About this game

Developer: Day 1 Studios
Content Rating: Mature

The story begins when a paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, and the government responds by sending in Special Forces. The group loses contact with the government when an eerie signal interrupts radio communications--and when that interference subsides moments later, the team has been destroyed. That's where you come in. As part of a classified strike team created to deal with threats no one else can handle, your mission is simple: eliminate the intruders at any cost, determine the origin of the signal, and contain the potential crisis before it gets out of control.

Played that copy of Resident Evil 4 a few too many times? Weren't completely turned off to The Ring franchise after the second movie? Then, merry man of the macabre do we have a game for you. F.E.A.R. is the latest shooter from the fine people who brought us No One Lives Forever. Let's just say this game is a little less campy

F.E.A.R. is great experience that isn't without its faults. The repetitive environments and less than ideal online and multiplayer situations are a letdown, for sure. F.E.A.R. has made it from the PC to 360 with everything that made it an outstanding experience along with a few new additions including the fantastic Instant Action mode, making it hard to lodge any huge complaints against the game.

F.E.A.R. is a great port of an excellent game. If you missed it on the PC last year (i.e. didn’t have a machine up to snuff to run it), now’s your chance to play to best PC shooter that 2005 had to offer. F.E.A.R. is a creepy and atmospheric FPS with great survival horror elements as well as all out action. If you missed out on this game when it hit PCs last year, do not let it slip away this time.
