In an attempt to balance lobbed through balls, EA has practically nerfed them entirely. Crossing has also been affected, with EA clearly studying at the school of Nani: many attempts fail to beat the first defender. Like heading in 14, hopefully a patch can address this.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil might feel like a step back to anyone coming from the next-gen versions of FIFA 14, but for those who haven’t yet upgraded, it represents an improvement on the annual release. Meanwhile, fans looking to cheer their team on this summer will get a kick out of the sizzling carnival atmosphere it generates.

Essentially last-gen FIFA 14 with a World Cup mode and a bit of presentational spit and polish. Not worth the money.
