About this game

Pac is back in an all new experience for a whole new generation of fans. Pac Man and the Ghostly Adventures game has an original story that is inspired by the show as well as all the charming characters from the highly anticipated Pac Man and the Ghostly Adventures animated series created and produced by Avi Arad, acclaimed director and founder of Marvel Studios. The story begins as the menacing ghosts escape from the creepy Netherworld to invade PacWorld. These frightening ghosts, ghouls, and goblins wreak havoc on the population and cause nothing but trouble wherever they go. Pac and his pals rise to the challenge of protecting their home and embark on an epic battle. Pac and his 2 best friends, Spiral and Cylindria, rise to the challenge of protecting their home, in a big, bustling, bonkers world of action, adventure, and just plain wackiness. All the while fighting for: Friendship, Freedom and the Future. Pac is Back.

There's a mediocre multiplayer arena and a few extras to collect, but the whole experience shouldn't run more than a handful of hours. Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures hardly does justice to the hungry fella's legacy, but it may prove to be an adequate diversion for younger players, particularly if they enjoy the show.

Young fans of the show will eat Ghostly Adventures right up, but it's also worth a look for anyone after a fun, simple platformer with old-school charm.

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is a game that is clearly designed for the younger market yet may be slightly too difficult for many kids to enjoy. The platforming can be tough at times and the camera only makes thing worse. The poor story and voice acting, straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon, will alienate the older audience, too, which really leaves Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures with no real market – which is a shame, as some of the ideas and platforming sections made for some of the best fun I’ve had in years.
