I'd definitely recommend Disney Infinity 3.0 for families with kids who adore Star Wars, as well as for gamers of all ages who love Disney and enjoy creating their own games and levels. ...Though I enjoyed my time with the game, I couldn't entirely get past its bugs and quirks. Disney Infinity 3.0 is still leaning on the many possibilities of community-generated content and endless opportunities for customers to empty their wallets for plastic doodads, and not everybody is going to be willing to prop it up.
Disney Infinity is no longer just the leader of the Toys to Life sector, with all of the fun that brings, and they’ve certainly gone beyond being a factory for fascinating, off-the-wall user generated levels. ...With 3.0, the developers have shown that they can take on board more standard, tried-and-tested video game ingredients and mix them, very satisfyingly, into the blend too.
Disney Infinity 3.0’s Toy Box is a huge leap forward for the series in terms of accessibility and fun. For the first time since the novelty of the original, I’m actually looking forward to going deeper into the world of creation and watch closer to see what others come up with. It’s unfortunate that the Wii U version’s load times are so poor, because when you can actually play the game, it is a whole lot of fun.
