Those of you who are happy to replay the odd level over and over for an hour to grab that one elusive star may find something to like here, but otherwise unless you’re desperate for a puzzle game I’d suggest looking elsewhere. As I said at the start of my review it’s not that Furmins is a bad game, it’s just one that doesn’t really arouse the motivation enough to warrant seeing everything that’s on offer.

Furmins is a great physics puzzler overall, with a sharp aesthetic, splendid music, and a stiff, compelling challenge. The trial and error nature of some puzzles can get a little irritating – but its smart design means that retrying a level is a quick and easy process. However, while the game's art style sets it apart from smaller titles, it's still a very familiar experience beneath all of its fur – even if genre enthusiasts will love it.

The visuals are pleasant but I would not go as far as saying they are eye-catching. The backgrounds are drawn in 2D, while the sharp 3D models stand out against a hand drawn 2D background. The Furmins all look the same and though it is nice to see them fall in line at the goal towards the end of each level, overall there aren’t any visually arresting moments to make you stop and say wow.
