Day of the Tentacle is a classic, and this remastered version is a great way for old fans to see the time-hopping adventure looking its best. Hopefully, it’ll also give a new generation of players a chance to experience all of the silliness for themselves. The few technical terrors I encountered were annoying, but they only momentarily zapped the smile that I wore throughout the rest of my play time.
Day of the Tentacle Remastered is another classic Double Fine title that has been given a facelift for the PlayStation Vita. The puzzles can be challenging and the game can be completed in around five hours, but those five hours will provide you with a hilarious story, great characters and puzzles that hold up even though they are 23 years old! If, like me, you are a point and click fan then Day of the Tentacle Remastered is one you don't want to miss!
DOTT: Remastered is an almost perfect marriage of well-written story, devious, yet genius puzzles, mesmerizing art, and succulent, soulful symphonies.
