1. V-Rally 4
Kylotonn's classic offroad racer comes back after a decade long hiatus. With a lot of time in-between their installment, the expectations were high for their latest entry. First released on the PC and consoles — PS4 and Xbox One — in September, V-Rally didn't make quite the impression. Succeeding in terms of 90s nostalgia throwbacks with their classic--or rather, dated--car collection, competing with the likes of Codemaster's Dirt Rally, V-Rally just wasn't up to task with its clunky handling and controls. Not expecting too many changes on the Switch port, it comes out on February 5, 2019.
Arc System Works' gathers round a roster of 30 characters and 60 unique stages in this latest installment to their 2D Fighting game series. Set after the events of Chrono Phantasma, this special edition gets you 40 hours deeper into their action-packed storyline. The official Monster Energy Supercross game gets a sequel. What with the less than stellar performance of their debut title, all eyes are glued to this newest installment. Do better, train harder, and build your racing career trajectory along with official riders in their official tracks. Hoping not much will be cut out in this portable format, it's set to release on February 08, 2019.
Nippon Ichi's upcoming action adventure feels extra special with its cutely melancholic atmosphere. Telling the story of a heartwarming friendship between wolf-girl princess and prince, it feels like a storybook adventure from our childhood days. To add to the woe and whimsy is its sepia-toned hand-drawn artstyle. And, when they say hand-drawn, they do mean it, pouring meticulous detail into its animations and backdrops. Cute with a possibly heart-rending twist, it's set to release on February 12, 2019
