I would only rate the multiplayer as i have yet to finish the campaign. (Probably won't) because i barely finish any open world games. When i heard that Halo Infinite campaign was open world, i was excited. And when i heard that Halo infinite multiplayer is free, it made me excited at first but after thinking of the consequence, i made my mind, it's bad that it's free. And here's why.

  

*   If it's free, meaning basically anyone who has a laptop or a console good enough to work, can be able to play the game, and when it's a free to play multiplayer game, it means the only way to earn money is to put expensive skins. And that's what happen. The game's shop is straight up expensive. For a cat ear, a skin and a gun skin, it's $20 which is 2000 Credits, 1000 credits for $10. And the skins doesn't even look cool, it's plain and rubbish.

  

*   Most free-to-play multiplayer games always suffer one thing, and that “one thing is… Hackers. It's so easy for hackers to play the game, once they got banned, they can just make a new account, since it's a free to play game. They got nothing to lose. And there's a particular game mode where headshot is insta kill and body shot is 3 shot kill. For hackers, they can just run around, auto headshot boom. And win. And i met a few of them. Which is pretty annoying and most of my teammates left. Leaving the match extremely unfair.

There are a lot of gamemodes, and probably more coming soon, though, some of them aren't in the game yet, like infection or forge or fireteam or here's the list of the gamemodes so far. (list by PcGamer [Here](https://www.pcgamer.com/halo-infinite-multiplayer-modes/))

  

**ARENA MULTIPLAYER MODES**

The following modes you've likely played a number of times—especially if you're trying to load into Stronghold matches!

*   Slayer: A 12-minute match where two teams of four must compete to defeat 50 enemies. 
*   Capture the Flag: An up-to-12-minute match where you need to capture the opposing team's flag while also protecting your own. 
*   Oddball: Two teams of four must work together to keep hold of the flaming skull until either team reaches 100 points. It lasts for two rounds and remember, you can bash enemies with the skull. Just don't drop it! 
*   Strongholds: Two teams must compete to capture three zones around the map. Once one team scores 200 points, the match is over. 
*   Fiesta: Plays like Slayer except that you'll spawn with two random weapons and some equipment. Weapon racks will be empty and the only pickups you'll be able to make are scavenging from fallen players or swapping loadouts with your teammates. Not always available.

**BIG TEAM BATTLE MODES**

Many of the previous modes appear in Big Team Battle, though things are a little more frantic than they are with fewer players. The rules and victory conditions are slightly different, so let's take a look.

*   Slayer: Two teams of 12 must work together to defeat 100 enemies in 15 minutes. The maps for this version of Slayer are much larger and there are a bunch of vehicles to play with. 
*   Total Control: This 12v12 match has you trying to control three areas around the map. Once a team has control of all three points at the same time, they'll score a point and new zones will appear elsewhere. The first team to score three points wins. 
*   Capture the Flag: The same as before, but much bigger. Matches will last a maximum of 15 minutes and you'll have a wide range of vehicles in your arsenal to help you get around the massive maps. 
*   Stockpile: This 15-minute match has two teams of 12 collecting Power Seeds and depositing them back at their base. Once you've deposited five Power Seeds you'll score a point and the first team to score three points wins. If you want to stop your enemies from depositing their Power Seeds, you're gonna need to kill them. 

**HIDDEN MODES**

In addition to the modes above, Halo Infinite also has a number of gameplay modes that are visible when you boot up the game offline. None of these have been introduced to matchmaking or made available in custom games, but they're likely the ones we can expect to see in the coming months.

*   Arena: Attrition
*   Arena: Attrition Dodgeball
*   Arena: Elimination
*   Fiesta: Attrition
*   Fiesta: CTF
*   Fiesta: One Flag CTF
*   Fiesta: Strongholds
*   Ranked: Elimination
*   Ranked: One Flag
*   Tactical: Slayer
*   Tactical: Slayer Commandos
*   Tactical: Slayer Manglers
*   Tactical: Slayer Sidekicks
*   Tactical: Slayer Stalker Rifles

And done. There are so much game modes, and you can play them with bots which is the one of the reason why i like halo infinite. You can even play with friends. LIke custom fiesta, first to 900 kills or whatever, you can customize a lot.

There are also rank matches in the game and in goes from-

*   Bronze (6 tiers)
*   Silver (6 tiers)
*   Gold (6 tiers)
*   Platinum (6 tiers)
*   Diamond (6 tiers)
*   Onyx (1 tier)

And the rank system is pretty similar to csgo, instead of winning 10 matches to get a rank, halo makes it, when you play 10 rank matches, you'll get a rank and from there on, you must win or lose but have good score to increase your points system to level up to the next rank. I can't really explain it but once you go into the game (if you haven't already, it should be all figured out).

Settings in the game can really help with your performances. LIke changing the colour of the enemy to a colour that stands out like yellow or purple. But yellow is way better to see. **Raise the FOV**

"A game’s field-of-view, or FOV, is essentially how much the player can see. Think of it as pushing the eyes back further into the head of whatever character is being controlled. More of the surrounding area is going to be visible, although there will be a slight “fishbowl” effect.

In _Halo Infinite_, that effect is negligible, and the game’s default FOV is far too low. With its normal setting, players can easily miss other players moving to their sides, making for frustrating situations of “how did I not see him?” Be sure to pump your FOV up substantially, at least as far as you’re comfortable with. My FOV, for instance, is 111, giving me a decent view of my surroundings without a severe fishbowl effect."

**Make enemies stand out**

"One of _Halo Infinite_‘s biggest — and most overlooked — changes is that enemies are now highlighted. The change is welcome, as it makes it easier to differentiate a grey-armored Spartan from the grey metal they might be standing in front of. However, the game’s default outline is a simple red, which can sometimes bleed into backgrounds or explosions, making it hard to keep track of enemies.

By heading into the game’s accessibility options and down to the visual sub-section, players can change the color of their enemies’ outline with the “Enemy UI Color” setting. My go-to for this is Sunshine, a bright yellow that pops against nearly every background and effect in the game, and while it may be a bit ugly to look at, enemies are always easy to spot on my screen."

**Disable auto clamber**

"Clambering isn’t a new feature, but it sure is an annoying one. When players jump at any ledge in _Halo Infinite_ that appears to be just above their heads, their Spartans will grab the ledge and pull themselves up. However, during this animation players can’t do anything. They can’t use equipment, throw grenades, or shoot, they’re totally vulnerable. Funnily enough though, players can pretty much jump high enough to land on any ledge they’d normally clamber over, meaning there are actually very few instances where the movement mechanic is useful. The setting to turn off auto clambering can be found in the movement and aiming section of the controller settings menu.

After changing these three settings _Halo Infinite_ won’t radically change, but the regular player experience should be better. Enemies should be easier to spot and players will spend less time defenseless. The customization is the game isn't as much as halo mcc, but it's something and it will grow as the weeks passes by. Since every week they change the shop items and most of the time, people will make fun. Like a week ago was a $20 skin which looks a lot of iron man. Which is very weird.

There are alot of stratagries in the game, other than aim.

*   Like dropping like gun when you have no more ammo, because it's faster than switching guns.

Why i rated halo infinite a 10? Because it gave me so much fun. I never had that much fun playing other fps game other than csgo. Even though the battlepass is hard to level up to 100. It's a grindy process which is not worth it, but they will improve it next season i hope.
