I remember when the game first came out, my YouTube recommendation feed was filled with “mini motorways” videos, and now, I can see why lots of people enjoy the game.

Like the game descriptions says, “Mini Motorways is a strategy simulation game about designing the road map for a growing city. Build a traffic network, one road at a time, to create a bustling metropolis. Redesign your roads and place your motorways to get everyone where they need to go. How long can you keep the city moving?”

Mini motorway is a game where you build roads for the people to go where they need to go. With limited resources, you'll start with a few roads to connect the houses to a “mall” or some sort of big building. Every week, more houses starts to appear, and you'll get a choice, to choose either two option. “More roads” or fewer roads but a special thing, like a bridge, traffic lights and other stuff which are useful to make the roads more organize which makes it faster for the people to travel around the place.

The goal is basically to survive as long as you can, the only way to lose is, if a car doesn't reach their designated place in time. It's a nice and very chill game to play. There are 12 levels. Once you're done, you can still have fun by playing the weekly challenge and the daily challenge.

What i really like about mini motorways is the art style, it's very clean and cute. Especially the cars and buildings, when you reach a point where a trillion cars are moving around, the view is amazing. The game is simple and easy to learn and have fun, for $10, it can probably last you about an hour or two.

**Options,** for people who are colourblind, there is a “colourblind” option to enable and turning it on, makes the game more colourful as there are barely any colour type in the game, only yellow, red, grey, white etc. But turning on colourblind mode, you'll see colours like purple, which makes the game more colourful and fascinating. Just seeing all the coloured cars travelling to their workplace or some sort of building, it's sooo satisfying. And each level has a different colour background, for Beijing, it's blue and white, for Tokyo, it's pink and white. Not spoiling the rest, you should check it out though. Worth trying. Even if it is only last for an hour or two. It's worth the experiences.

What I don't like about mini motorway, is the fact that there's no background music while you're playing, it's just silence, which is very awkward. And makes it very boring when you're sleepy.
