Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

Played it 6 years after the first release and it's a pretty good game overall, even if it has aged quite a bit. The combat mechanics are good, the skill tree and the nemesis concept (sauron's army) work quite well. However, I didn't really get into the story. I think it's because the story evolve by completing missions that are sometimes not well linked to each other. It goes to fast and without many explanations. I'm a bit disappointed on this part. I think I would have spend much time in this game if I had played it 6 years ago, but 15hours for the story + wandering a bit is quite enough for me now. That being said, there is plenty to do in the game : many subquests and collectibles to find. The open-world is full of orcs and uruks (sometimes too much, you're easily cornered and outnumbered by your enemies) and the fast travail is very appreciated. The gameplay and the missions are sadly very repetitive, but the more you progress the more the game is fun to play.

Very cute game ! It's a nice adventure with a point'n'click style that is very enjoyable. A nice story with fun characters and you get this colorful game. It's not too long and pretty easy so you can be sure you'll have only a good time playing it. That being said, we can regret the lack of depth in the story and the gameplay : the puzzles are very easy to solve and there are no difficulty whatsoever. The end falls a bit short too, leaving us wondering if they really finished the game as they wanted to. I give it a good overall score because I really enjoyed it (for 2$ on sale), but it seems it's a more of trial or an introduction to what could be their next game. Obviously they have a very good base for they've done a good job on this one, but hopefully they'll give us more. Anyway, you'll like it for sure and it's pretty affordable, so you have no excuses ! Enjoy !

God, this game is hard but this game is gooooooood. You will rip off your hair dying over and over, but the satisfaction of beating the game will be even more rewarding. I honestly think I cried when beating the game + its DLC (well, maybe not cried but you feel me). There is so much to do in each level and so little info given by the game that you are left by yourself. You have strictly no help whatsoever to guide you or tell you what to do or where to go. You will regret being overconfident, but you won't stop as it's the way to progress. You can't go back, you have to move on, and you will win at the end (eventually, after many trials). I never played any Dark Souls game, and I don't know if I want to, but I don't regret playing Bloodborne. I hope you'll love it as I love it. Enjoy !

Beware : masterpiece ! This game is one of a kind. The same kind as the more recent 'A Plague Tale'. Both are dark and powerful journey. I have to say, I waited for this game for a long time, for I was watching the making-of videos Ninja Theory was releasing during its development. And I was not disappointed. Even if the gameplay is basic, it does a really good job, as it serves the story very well. The fights for instance, are a repetition of 3 buttons and direction moves, but you feel a massive pressure at each encounter. The fact that you have to start all over (from the beginning yes...) if you die too much may add some stress. But I have to say that this is a bright idea that fits with the whole. The introduction is a good representation of what the game is : moving alone in a ruined world with many voices whispering to your ears. It catches your whole soul and drives it into its darkness. You dive right in, and you don't leave until the very end. If you could, you should try to play it in 2 or 3 sessions to keep feeling the atmosphere. It's not a very long game, but it's very intense so you may want to pause sometimes though... 3 advices to play the game : put a headset on, be sure to not be disturbed (and even more by surprise), and you may want to keep a light on (confession here). Enjoy !

Quite fun to play even if this is more like an interactive movie than a real video game - many references at movies in the dialogues (show me the moneyyyyyy). The story and characters are totally insane but I guess this is the world of Borderlands. So : fun to watch/play, cool characters, easy to platinum

If you like beat them all, it's definetely a game to do. I thought this new Dmc style was brilliant. The combat design is flowless : many weapons easy to use for an unstoppable killing spree. I played it on PS3 and then on PS4, and I didn't really see a difference, I'm just glad they included the Virgile's DLC.

M-A-G-N-I-F-I-C-E-N-T Everything is in this game. From the story (you'll cry with the evolution of the father/son relationship), the lore and the combat. Without forgetting the graphics that are just gorgeous. It's a total turn with the previous GOW, especially on the combat design. The fights look now much more like a Nioh than a GOW, but it's for the best. A bit disappointed by the open-world though, as we can't go to all the realms. Don't miss it, it's an adventure you won't forget.

Cool game, fun to play, but it's very very repetitive. The story is alright even if the main character is very cool. The powers are fun but the skill tree is very limited. I liked roaming the city of Seattle and jumping from rooftops to rooftops, and the combats are pretty cool. As I used it already 3 times, I think we can say it's a cool game that I enjoyed playing but it's too bad it's that repetitive.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

What a game ! It's pure fun. Following the very good AC Origins, AC Odyssey takes the best from it and gives even more. The world The open world is huge (perhaps too much if you ask me) and you can got anywhere. The sea takes almost half of the map and it's for the best, for the ships are back as we had them in AC Black Flag. CAUTION : Epic ship battles in view. The story Setting in ancient Greece, it's very interesting to see and live this period, however it's not the case of the story of the misthios (mercenary) and his/her sibling. I took much more interest in roaming the world by foot or by sea, discovering the many places, forts and camps to conquer ; hunt legendary animals and battle in the arena. The best story part would be the demantling of the Kult of Kosmos as you have to chase the bad Kultils all over the world with hard resistance. The fighting Leveling up gives you point to spend in a skill tree that unlocks new moves. I think it's fantastic as you can chose your fighting style and improve it to the top. From AC Origins, it takes the equipment upgrades and add a new and very powerful engraving system. To be short, AC Odyssey is a playground where you can do almost whatever you want. I spent almost 80 hours and I didn't defog the entire map (I know I like to take my time, and I've spent many hours on my ship roaming the sea).

Magnificent. Couldn't enjoy it more. Update after finishing the game 100% : I really enjoyed roaming the city with the Spider Guy. It's a bit repetitive of course, but I think this is the only cons I would give it. I remember I liked the 'Batman Arkham' game series quite a lot, but this one is far better, even if it benefits from those really good games, that's for sure, for it borrows many ideas from them. As would said Joey (Friends fan anywhere?) : The fights : good, the gameplay : good, the story : good. This game is good good good !
