Honestly, I suck at these types of games. I have the shortest patience on earth when it comes to playing this. I can grind for hours just to level up as to compare to having to face death multiple times. Sifu actually gave me that kind of headache, just like the same with playing Sekiro and GhostRunner before. Although I admit, this game really rocks! Sifu actually showed us that mechanics and gameplay will still matter without having those fancy graphics and particle effects. I love the way how fluid this game is. The interaction between objects and the AI is awesome. The AI movements are actually much better and show intelligence throughout the sequences. The game is too short, to be honest, but depending on your skill, you can finish this within just 2 hours or so. It took me a while to beat this game since I keep on coming back to the first level and making my way to the top. The death mechanic of this game is actually different, you will not die eventually, but instead "age" progressively. As you age, your attack power will increase sacrificing the Hit Points that you have. Which is I think logical. The punishment of this game once you have reached a certain age is somewhat frustrating. Since once you reached 76+ age, you will die and will start from the very beginning of the level losing all of your power-ups. This enforce the players to replay the entire level from the beginning to reward the players. The story is somewhat cliche for me, it seems like I've heard the story of revenge type a million times already. How I wish they could've dived deeper with the stories and some introduction with another side character. Overall, I enjoyed this game but gave me massive headaches.
