For all the comments I heard of how gorgeous this game was I had big expectation for it. Honestly it isn't really that gorgeous, for me it's acceptable. It was a big risk for Capcom changing the game for a first person shooter, but it worked great. It returns the horror but not the zombies.
The game is kind of short (9 hours to completed), the conception of the game I really liked so far. The game has 2 finals, I got the ending 1. Some of the plot twist were easy for me to see how everything it was going to end.
I like Resident Evil franchise, so I had this bad habit that for any boss battle just use your ammo as crazy. For this game is recommended first look the environment of the battle, because some of them you can save your ammo to beat the boss.
I was hyped when this game was announced, it really worth the waiting.
It has two main plots, but I will not spoil anything. Basically it exist two races Dahna and Renan, the Renan started a conquest in which invaded and slaved the Dahnan, the game started 300 years after the invading and you play as Alphen. Our typical hero who has amnesia.
Like most of Tales' games, you have the exploration map and the battles. The exploration of the map is big but fairly enough to explore it completely and it gives you some rewards by doing it. Like items, armor or food. During the battles you have your basic attacks and your astral arts, in this case is different. The "normal" astral arts it function as stamina, when you used them all you will have to wait to be refilled. Now the healing astral arts (CP) is our mana which is shared by all your team. By having this mechanic you can attack with all your astral arts with any issues, just have to keep in mind that if you don't have more CP no healing.
You have to play this game, it's fun, entertainment and challenging.
This games is really amazing!!!! I love this game. The design of this Metroid is out of the world. It has some implementations from Metroid Samus Returns (N3DS), in which you have this cinematics with quick action. The transaction with 2d to 3rd perspective I loved it.
This game is a direct sequel of Metroid Fusion, for those players who had played previous games, you will love this game.
For those who are new in this franchise will like this game and don't have to worry if you haven't played the previous game. The main plots are explained at the beginning of the game.
I would liked this game could be a little more extensive, but I am satisficed. It is really hard to beat the boss and to avoid the EMMIs with a little of patient and learning its patterns, you beat them with any trouble at all.
The story starts with some questions, your main character have amnesia and you just know it exist a war between two nations. It exist a prophecy in which a group of heroes called the Fatebound will bring peace of Legrand and end the war. Fatebound first have to pass some trials to understand that Fatebound have to be focused just of the benefits of Legrands future instead of its own good. The group just agree for the good of the trial, but after the trial they still walking by its own ambitions. They don't really learn anything during the trials. During all the game Fatebound is always fighting and arguing.
The love relationship between Aria and Finn is forced and with any good statement. Aria is just a selfish person that later in the story said to Finn she wants to change and be better. But she keeps going a selfish person who don't really care anything. The relation between Eris and Finn is well structured but...
The gameplay is really good is a base turn with QE. Depending how good you press the QE it could be critical, good or weak attack. It doesn't have magic, so your special attacks unlimited, and also it has this dynamic called AP in which its a super special and strong attack. The AP will be filled by attacking enemies or sleeping in the Inns. It also have war gameplay in which is a base turn like a chess game, just have to be careful with the advantage and disadvantage of your units.
The ending... God no!!! The ending is terrible, it feels like the developers didn't have more time and just close everything forced. This makes to leaving making so many questions it isn't satisfactory see the ending. It also have a secret ending, but either it gives you a good closure. Just gives you more questions and unsatisfactory.
It is really frustrating because Legrand Legacy have the potential to be a great indie RPG game, but it has many things to get better.
- It is not a bad game either the best
- It is a hard RPG with lot dialogue
- The gameplay is really innovating and fun, I had my doubts but it was really fun.
- The story and characters are not the best
- You should try this game at least once, but don't have great expectations
The story is about Zagreus, Hades' son. Zagreus discovers that his real mother is missing and now is trying to escape from hell to find her. This rogue like game is really hard. I finally get out of hell the first time after 33 attempts, but hey who says that getting out of hell will be easy? Even though you will die several times, it still fun playing as Zagreus and try to escape.
- Zagreus is sarcastic and fun
- The story is interesting but kind of simple
- The music is great
- After your first escape: you will unlock the option to try to escape with some optional difficulties, but it gives you betters rewards
Suggestions? be patient, don't get nervous during boss battles and read all the boons to create a better strategy
This is my first time playing YS, and OMG. It was so fun.
The story is about another adventure of Adol who in this time, he got stuck in Siren's Island. The island is known of been a cursed one, during your adventures you are discovering mysteries.
- Hackslash action RPG
- The battles are pretty fast to finish if you exploit the weakness of the enemy.
- The music is great, it changes depending in which part of the island you are.
- The story is interesting with some plot twist.
- When the monster are too far, you will notice a little lag. But it isn't too bad
I think this is one of the best game you can start with the franchise. The number of the game is not the exact chronology order of the game. If you want to play it in order, search in google.
The reborn of the Fire Emblem's game.
- The story is great
- The new mechanics of battle
- The children can inherit the abilities of their parents have, giving you an enormous ways to inherit your child.
- The option to reclass your army. You don't some character because it's statistics are bad, not worry reclass them so you can beef up it or reclass to get a better skill and make your army an OP.
- The DLC's are too challenging, but satisfying.
For being the sequel of the previous game, it also have the gorgeous backgrounds and landscapes.
The story is great, now Ori is able to defend itself and you have new skills to progress in the story. It is not a bad game but I would liked if you would be able to use more your friend. The ending it was good, but personally I didn't like it at all.
It have being ages, since I had played a good paper mario's game.
The story and art are great. The main plot of the story is the villian is converting everything in origami making them to lost control of themselves.
Your job as Mario is always to save Mushroom Kingdome and Princess Peach. You can save the toads which are hidden in all the map, getting them let you see al the art of the game in the museum. The only thing I really don't like either dislike is the battle system and boss battle. I didn't get so much fun, it was kindof boring.
Cloud an ex-SOLDIER, get messed with Avalanche a terrorism which main goal is end Shinra. Shinra is extracting the MAKO the force life of the planet.
For being a really old game, it still being so good playing it. With the switch version if you get bored of the random encounters and just want to keep progressing, just active the no enemy encounter. This makes easily keep going with that annoying encounters, but beware as all the JRPG the grinding is important to progress.
FF7 have too much to do, if you want to get everything (the 2 extra characters and the definitive weapon of each characters) use a guide. Honestly, it is so easy you can miss something important.
The music is great, the story is emerging and entertaining. The final boss and optional bosses are long, tedious and hard too beat.
The story starts with Yuri, an ex-soldier, who is just trying to help its living place. For some reason you ended in a big mess (typical JRPG haha).
The story is interesting and joyful. You will encounter some optional conversation with your comrades which most of them are hilarious. I like how in the ending battle scene, you can appreciate how they are being more close with theirs companions as you progress the story. The optional bosses are really challenging.
What I didn't like it is your companions use too much skills ability and consume all your items. Hopefully you can avoid they use your items by pushing one button.
Honestly I have my doubts of this game. It is a crossover with Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensi games.
The plot of the story is some shadows are stealing the "performances" from the artist. Your job is stop those shadows which are doing a big mess in Japan. The rest of the game is the same cliché of one of the protagonist wants to be an "idol" and you are helping with and stopping the shadows.
The music is not bad, but it got boring listening again and again. If you want to beat the enemy fast you have to use yours skills to create chains with yours companions otherwise it will take you and eternity beat them. I never used a normal attack because the damage you make is not so great compared with the skills.
I like the game, to be played just once.
For being a Bugisoft's game I didn't have a great impact. Personally I like Greek's mythology and Immortals Fenyx Rising have most the mythology in game during side quest. The game is really unique and hilarious with the narration Prometheus and Zeus.
The side quest are mini puzzles hidden in all the island of the game. Here some points:
- Some of the puzzles are just too repetitive
- If you want to be sure you get all the puzzles, you have to connect to Ubisoft connect and see the progress of the game. Otherwise you won't know if you get everything
- The game does not shows if you get everything in that area. That makes difficult to get the 100% if the game if you want it.
- Then final boss, it wasn't 100% satisfied to beat it.
- The landscape are gorgeous.
- The diving and swimming option weren't exploted at all.
Don't miss understanding me, the game is great and I liked it. I didn't want to beat it haha.
Return to the horror!
I played the version in N64 long time ago and this game is 90% purely to its original version. Adding a little more of story, having the same suspense as the original but giving having its own sign.
It is not the original story you played, but somehow it has the essence of Final Fantasy Games. It takes the most important plots from the original. I consider it is a mix from all the ff7 games and films to create a unique game with its own story.
InterMission is a short story and entertaining with Yuffie, giving another point of the view during the events of FF7 remake.
I strongly recommend this game.
The story is intriging and mature. The music is phenomenal, difficult to get bother with it. The boss battles have too much health which makes eternal the battles.
The random encounters are balanced.
It is not exactly the same story as its original game. For be a remake with several changes with the story, it has the pure essential of Final Fantasy's games.
The gameplay is fun, great story in which you will desire more to keep playing.
It was my first Atelier's game. It was fun, hardly to understand some of the gameplay mechanics. Gathering materia is not that difficult.
It is a good game, but for be a prequel I think something is missing.
I am not saying it is a bad game, it's obscure, intense, good puzzling but it's too short compared with its previous one. I would like it has more play time or the DLC add more to the story.
Personally I don't like the warriors' games, but this odd combination is not that bad.
For those people who like zelda's games, I will recommend you to at least give it a try.
It is an obscure metroidvania, and challenging. Some people will say is an dark souls in 2D, it is not that difficult. I died a lot but I don't considered it was really frustrating, except for the Hall of gods.
If you are veteran in videogames, I am sure you will like. New comers should play it patiently because if you rush too much, surely you will be dying a lot.
Dead Cell is a fun game, you will be dying a lot (like any roguelike).
The story is hidden in the environment, if you want to know the story I think the best solution is search in youtube. It is complex and you have to get all the mini dialogs to know what happens in the game.
Otherwise I will be recommend this game to pass the time.
If you love Studio Ghibli animation and fantasy, this game is for you.
The story is great and mature. The battle system is unique, but the IA companions are not the best. So you have to act carefully in battle.
Most of pokemon's game don't have the best story, and this game is not exception.
The bad part:
- The story is complete boring
- Your rival is too dump and ridiculous.
- Team Yell is not evil. They are just dump people.
- The way to catch the legendary pokemon is ridiculously.
The good part:
- The wild area is gorgeous
- Raid pokemon battle are kind of fun but repetitive
- You can easily grind your pokemon, so the gym battles would be easy.
- Good music during gym battles
It is a good chance for new comers to play this great games. Overall it still missing Galaxy 2, which is a great game should be in this collection.
Mario 64: it is the first game of Mario in 3D version. I would liked the game could have a slightly better resolution.
Mario Sunshine: It has a unique gameplay. It is really fun and the story is not bad.
Mario Galaxy: Another excellent game and unique gameplay. Playing in handle mode is not the best experience. You would enjoy it in TV mode than handle mode. In TV mode you would have to readjust the pointer with button R, but it is not too annoying.
I suggest to play the game in order because the second game assume you already played the first game. The tutorial (Bayonetta 2) is not the best if you haven't played the first.
Both stories are great, is like playing DMC but as a woman. If you like to explore, you will get better improvements. Most of the items you have to collect is well hidden.
One more thing, you should play it with a pro control unless you want to destroy your joycons
The game is great but is too repetitive and controls are kind of confusing at the beginning.
Great game with original battle system, good story and character development.
It more better than Luigi Mansion 2. It has a fusion of dynamic with its previous games.
For the completionist players, would suffer to get all the ghosts in multiplayer mode.
I am a Zelda fan, but for be a remake I don't feel is a good game. The story stay the same as the original with slightly changes.
One of the few zelda's games which you only play once.
It has a great story, each character has a good development and a good option for players to start with the series of Dragon Quest.
For veterans they can play with the 2d version which all the encounters are random. For those who don't like random encounters they can play 3d version which you can decide fight or not.
The post game is a festival grinding to finish the game, but I highly recommend to finish the post game.
One of the best Super Smash Bro series. It has a massive option of fighters, it feels fresh, fun and perfect to play competitive or just for fun.
Mario 3D World: It is a great game to play with friends. The levels are balanced except for the final stage, which is too complex but satisficed. I strongly recommend to play this game with friends.
Bowser's Fury: For being a complementary game is good.
I don't feel is the best Mario game ever. I felt it's kind of repetitive.
The moons should be a limited for each world, but you can easily buy them without a limit.
Great game for lovers of adventure and open world.
