FIA European Truck Racing Championship does offer an officially-licensed way to race some of the biggest motorsport vehicles around, and with its unique brake cooling system, there’s a really rewarding balance between traditional racing tactics and resource management. However, the problems with performance on Switch - both in the framerate and the poor optimisation of trucks and track assets in handheld mode - really cause an already unwieldy racing experience to veer off the track.
FIA Euro Truck Racing Championship could have been a stellar addition to an underdone genre on the Switch. Instead, poor performance and lacklustre racing means it becomes yet another racing title destined for the bargain bucket.
Dans le jeu vidéo, il en faut pour tout le monde et les amateurs de courses de camion vont enfin pouvoir profiter d’une adaptation convaincante. Si le système de pénalités cumulé à l’IA capricieuse se révèle vite énervant, FIA European Truck Racing Championship dispose de suffisamment d’atouts pour séduire les amateurs de ce sport mécanique et les plus curieux. Le titre de N-RACING a même la bonne idée de proposer un versus en écran splitté ! Pour une première, c’est plutôt pas mal !
