EarthNight is a hand-painted runner about the dragon apocalypse featuring procedurally generated levels. We intend to change the way you think about runner games by designing on a much grander scale.

One could easily see a player losing interest early on due to the too delayed gratification of grinding through levels to collect all of the pieces needed for a power-up to progress. After seeing how the game evolves, I have to say that it's worth the time investment. EarthNight scrapes against greatness in its concept but falls slightly short in execution — not with the space dragons, though. I fully plan to execute all of the space dragons that I can get my hands on.
EarthNight could have been a very strong contender for my favorite indie game of the year if the Switch version wasn’t so plagued with technical issues that completely hindered the gameplay and my overall enjoyment. It is gorgeous, it features a fantastic soundtrack, and its gameplay loop is unique and very addictive.
While Earthnight looks and sounds great, the act of playing it isn't very fun, and that somewhat defeats the point of an endless runner. Without a satisfying gameplay loop to keep you coming back for more, it's highly likely that you will play a couple of runs before going off and playing something else. Also, we should probably just give our world to dragons anyway; it's not like we're treating it very well.
