Vanaris Tactics is a fantasy turn-based tactical RPG that tells a story about refugees fleeing their occupied motherland. You lead a group of refugees looking for freedom outside the walls of Vanaris, unite your people and use tactical prowess to escape your oppressors.

[ Story ] After the collapse of society due to material civilization, human beings will implement a "folklore policy" governed by some politicians based on their reflection. The world was settled by folklore, and the people got their own happiness. In order to make the peace forever, the politician manipulates his own genes and becomes an absolute person of immortality. The people worshiped and obeyed the absolute as a "god". For hundreds of years, perfect order was maintained and all the people lived happily. However, those who are tired of happiness form a clique and disturb the peace of the country ... The "gods" of each country organized an army and suppressed it. The slightest turbulence disrupted the over-perfect order, creating greater conflict. The world was once again flooded with death from hatred and justice. You exist in this world as the "god" of a nation. Dominate "the whole world" and lead all the people to happiness ... * This game only supports Japanese.

Combat is conducted on a tiled board and a unique point is that it allows gamers to switch between turn-based mode or real-time mode during combat. The turn-based mode will suit gamers who prefer the traditional way of playing slower paced RPGs while the real-time mode will appeal to players who like to think on their feet and dish out attacks as quickly as their fingers can move.

In Wandering Sword, you can build relationships with NPCs through interacting with them. You can even recruit some of them to join your adventures and share their martial arts and weapons with you. Who knows, you may even fall in love!

The game is developed in Unreal Engine and uses beautiful pixel art to showcase an open world with bustling ancient Chinese towns, scenic mountains, picturesque rivers, dangerous lairs, treacherous terrains and more.

Wandering Sword offers great replayability. Different choices you make will lead to different endings for the game. There are also a great number of side quests you can opt to take on besides the main quest, which will provide many hours of adventure time.
