I love so much this game

ACNH is a delightful and relaxing game that couldn’t have came out at a better time. The games slow yet rewarding progression always made me feel like what I was doing was worth my time, and the game never failed to cheer me up when I was having a hard time dealing with the world. The game sometimes got repetitive, but for the most part everything felt new and exciting. I can’t wait to keep playing for years to come.

Man, it's Animal Crossing. It's wholesome, relaxing, and enjoyable. I could write a lot about the timing of it being released at the beginning of the Pandemic lock down, but I'm not gonna. We all know.

My only complaint is still new Brewster.

I don't like the face that they sold this game empty with no events and nothing to do once you paid of your loan.

I don't like that only one island per console!, it is 60$ !, why can't my family emjoy the game a well?!

I don't like how time traveling has no actual downsides, villagers will not move away and will say long time no see , that's it!

it should have been called Happy Island Designer since it is all about the furniture.

I loved this game when it first came out and I probably have over 500 hours, but it gets a little boring day to day. I will have to come back in a few weeks or months because there is no progress really. I find it is taking too long to either build things, establish the plans and to terraform so my island always looks like crap. and I still haven't found all my fav villagers yet.

Good for start from 10 years old. Without online feature the game is somehow so so.

Is it perfect? No. Is it worth it? Yes. Animal Crossing New Horizons is the opposite of boring. Until you complete your dream island domain, you’ve got months of island customization, villager hunting, online play, and fun ahead of you. The main goal of the game is to create an island that suits your personality and preferences. But, you still have to work to meet that goal. You need to spend time collecting items on your own and making the things you want from scratch. You also have villagers who come in many shapes and sizes living on your island. They are animals like cats, dogs, birds, and mice. There are many villagers to choose from and it’s fun to hunt for the villagers you want so they can live on your island. Now, there are some things about animal crossing that aren’t that great. The online play can get a bit boring. There isn’t much to do besides play tag and catch bugs and fish. And the conversations you can have with the villagers are a bit bland most of the time. They say things like “I love a good walk on a sunny day!” or “I like exploring and finding places to hide things!”. It gets kinda boring. In the original Animal Crossing, the conversations had way more flavor. But overall, I think the game is totally worth playing. I got a couple of my friends into it, and they liked it, so I’d say it’s pretty good especially because those friends weren’t really console gamers.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is one of those special games that came out at one of the best possible times, not just for me, but for everyone that owned or wanted to own a Nintendo Switch console. During troubling times, it was something that brought joy to everyone and still does today with numerous seasonal events and free updates. This is a game that is meant to be played over the course of several years.

So, what makes Animal Crossing: New Horizons so good? Well, it's the perfect relaxation game. It makes you forget about everything going on in your life and takes you to a simpler life with no complications. Throw in cute and polished visuals, adorable animals, and tens of thousands of collectables and crafting recipes to decorate a virtual home and town and well... You have a simulation masterpiece on your hands.

There isn't really a whole lot more to say here. Nearly everyone has played or heard of this game at this point. Even my co-workers and staff, none of which had touched a video game controller, held an actual conference through Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This game is wonderful and will even turn the most adamant anti-video game activist towards the hobby.

If you own a Nintendo Switch and need something to take the edge off and help you relax, there isn't any other game I could recommend more. Get this game and forget all of your troubles.

Animal Crossing, this was my first time playing this game. My sister had bought the game on my switch and played for about 2h and then stopped, I had decided to try the game. After about my first 2h, I found the biggest problem, I realized that I was in my sisters island, and so I continued without thinking, until I had to get the insects for the museum, I realized that it would not let me, and so I had to go on the internet to find out why this was happening, to discover that my sisters account was the main account, and so whatever big decision that was supposed to be made, I had to do it on my sisters account and then go back on my account. After finishing the main story, until you get the tools to change the environment, the game is mainly oriented in the main account, so I would collect the recourses on my account and then go on my sisters account, but when I finally finished the main story the game becomes completely open, and that is when I became obsessed with this game, to the cute car characters to the fantastic island that I created. I have put about 200h in this game, I know that there are people that have put much more time into this game, but I hope that I have helped you.

Very fun and relaxing game. Although, between events and surprise things happening on the island, there isn't much to do but harvest fruit, talk to villagers, and whatnot. I would say the beginning of the game really caught me, and then after a month, I became bored. I play intermittently now, usually looking forward to seasonal events.

Ok, honest opinion. I kinda grow old about this game already. Well it's not a bad game as I already poured over hundreds of hour within this game. At the release of this game, the hype is on. but more and more, it will grow old.

Lets talk about the game, there are a lot to do for the game, what i suggest for people who just bought or wanted to buy this game, this is a game that you design your island and live in that island.

Beginner Tip:

- Plan your island before putting up houses, as in future you will use your money on a lot of incline and bridge building. So there are not enough of room for you to spend in moving houses.

- Go find multiple discord channel to communicate with each other to gather certain resources.

Well in conclusion it is a fun and relaxing game, but I do remind that it could grow bored if you played it rushly, So take it slowly and DO NOT TIME SKIP.

My favourite game on the Switch. Ive played it almost everyday since release

This game is great... but it's not for me lol.

Everything about this title is fantastic. I've never played Animal Crossing before, but I must say, it is certainly enjoyable. A few "quality of life" features are lacking, like crafting in bulk. But despite this, it absolutely shines as the best "sandbox" game I've ever played. Nice graphics, cool music and easy gameplay.

But I can't play it the amount I'd want to. This game is extremely time consuming, and someone in college as myself can't afford to waste hours and hours building an island. Keep this is mind, if you don't have time, you won't be able to see everything this game has to offer.

So this is my review. A incredible game, but one I'll not play anymore, for I don't have enough time to enjoy it slowly and steady, as the game demands.

But if you have time to waste, get this game rn, 'cause it's a true gem on the switch.

great game to casually play. It's a great game for anyone and if you have a switch pick it up. My only complaint is there are too many menus.

Best game of 2020

The game is a fun, loving happy time. Seriously. I've never played another game that made me excited to do chores, by which I mean my daily fossil checks and material collections to get more bells and craft more materials. This game is a 10/10 except for some of the writing (at least in it's English iteration) which is some of the cheesiest at times, while other times it's fine. Also, there are some simple improvements that could and should be made, such as including a meter gauge to let players know how much life is left in their tools. These can be fixed with a patch, and while it may not be the devs intention to give this information, players agree that it would be useful and appreciated, especially for those nook miles ticket trips to islands where you're best served with healthy tools.

But the gameplay and infinite possibilities make these mentions miniscule. The gameplay is smooth and the music and audio give the game a happy and fun-loving vibe. Buyer beware, YOU WILL HAPPILY AND WILLINGLY SHED HOURS AWAY FROM YOUR LIFE TO EXPERIENCE THIS GAME. And you're gonna love it.
