Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a game that truly stands out and could very well be a strong contender for Game of the Year 2023. Playing it on the PS5 was an absolute delight, as the game took full advantage of the console's power and capabilities.

From the very beginning, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor managed to capture the essence of what it feels like to become a Jedi in a video game. The gameplay was immersive and engaging, making me feel like a true Jedi as I wielded my lightsaber and used the Force to take on enemies. The introduction of Stances added a whole new layer of depth to the combat, giving me more options and strategies to use in battles.

The visuals in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor were nothing short of breathtaking. The environments were beautifully rendered, and the character designs were on point. Whether I was exploring the vast landscapes or engaging in intense lightsaber duels, the graphics always managed to impress.

While the story of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor did a good job of picking up from its previous title, I couldn't help but feel that there was something missing. The narrative felt a bit empty at times, and the ending left me wanting more. Perhaps the developers were saving some surprises for future content, but I couldn't shake the feeling that the story could have been more fleshed out.

Despite this, the overall experience of playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was nothing short of phenomenal. The gameplay, visuals, and the feeling of becoming a Jedi all combined to create a truly memorable and enjoyable gaming experience. This is one of those few games that excel even when they drop a sequel, and it's a testament to the skill and passion of the developers.

It also offers a thrilling and challenging experience, much like a Souls-game. The difficulty level truly put my skills to the test, and I found myself facing formidable foes and intense battles throughout the game. It's not a walk in the park, but that's what makes the victories all the more rewarding.

The game's combat system, inspired by Souls-like games, requires precise timing, strategic planning, and a good understanding of enemy patterns. Each encounter felt like a true test of my abilities as a Jedi, and I had to adapt and learn from my mistakes to overcome the challenges that lay ahead.

While the difficulty may be daunting at times, it added a layer of excitement and tension to the gameplay. Every encounter with powerful enemies or intimidating bosses kept me on the edge of my seat, knowing that a single misstep could lead to defeat.

The comparison to Souls-games is not to be taken lightly, as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor truly lives up to the reputation of its challenging counterparts. It's a game that demands dedication and perseverance from players, but in return, it offers a deeply rewarding and satisfying experience for those who are willing to take on the challenge.

In addition to this, customization actually has its edge on its one. I prefer the customization value this game has given me. It made obsess on how Cal should look for every part of the game I am in. With that, It really made me explore the world even more to find materials, and other cosmetics the game can offer me. How I wish there is a Poncho!

In conclusion, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a must-play for any Star Wars fan or anyone who has ever dreamt of becoming a Jedi. The gameplay is engaging and varied, the visuals are stunning, and the feeling of wielding a lightsaber and using the Force is simply unmatched. While the story could have been more fulfilling, the overall experience of playing this game is one that will stay with me for a long time. If you're looking for an epic and immersive Star Wars adventure, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the game to play.
