It is very hard for me to choose a score for this game. On one hand the game is very original especially, when you take into consideration that it was released originally on PS2. The settings and story is simplistic, but interesting and it is not your common good guy story. Most of the fights are fun and feels really epic, but few are quite tedious especially, when you need to lure the colossus somewhere. Sometime they just randomly ignore you even if you do exactly what is expected. The worst part of the game is camera and controls. The camera pick sometimes quite odd angles that make it hard to play, or even can get you killed. The controls feel clunky and sometimes just straightforward don't work. Good example of that is the button you use for both calling and mounting your horse. It is not uncommon that you are staying next to the horse and instead of mounting it your character is just calling its name. This is really annoying in the middle of the fight and caused me few deaths. Overall most of the game is really enjoyable and some of the moments are highlights to remember even for somebody who spends three decades playing games and is definitionally something everybody should try and could be easily 9.5 if they were just able to fix those annoying problems. Still I gave it just 8, but would recommend to everybody who likes platforming, boss fights or action games in general anyway.
