I am a fan of fighting games, and when I heard that a new fighting game was going to hit the Xbox Game Pass, I was hyped. I've heard good things about the Guilty Gear series, especially from my boyfriend who played the very first Guilty Gear back on the PSX.

So, what do I think about Guilty Gear? It's extremely fun and challenging.

The normal difficulty in arcade mode is quite challenging for me. I guess I still need to learn proper timing and maximize the BURST move. But that's the thing: I was struggling, but I had fun with it. That's what got me hooked on playing it.

As for the story, the game offers a story mode where you watch the full lore in anime cinematic cutscenes. This allows anyone who is interested in the story to catch up with the lore with ease.

It has other modes where you can customize your avatar by spending points, and I think that's a fun little side game to keep players busy.

But what stands out the most in -Strive- is the heavy metal music. I am not a fan of heavy metal, but I think having such a heavy soundtrack in a fighting game really hypes you up for your next fight, which is great in my opinion.

All in all, Guilty Gear -Strive- is a must-play for any fighting game fans out there.
