Pure Pool on PS4 is a game that looks and sounds impressive at first glance, but ultimately falls short in many ways. While the graphics are certainly impressive, the gameplay itself can feel repetitive and uninspired. There's a distinct lack of variety to the game, and it can become boring quickly.

One of the biggest issues with Pure Pool is the lack of a real sense of progression. There's no real reward for winning matches, and there's no way to customize or upgrade your equipment. This can make the game feel like a slog after a while, with no real incentive to keep playing.

Another major issue with the game is the lack of variety in the gameplay. While there are certainly different types of pool games to play, the actual gameplay can feel tedious and uninteresting. There's no real sense of strategy or nuance to the game, which can make it feel like a mindless time waster rather than a satisfying game experience.

While the game does offer online play, the matchmaking can be frustrating and the online community is often small and unresponsive. It can be difficult to find a game with players of a similar skill level, which can make the online experience feel unbalanced and frustrating.

Despite its flaws, Pure Pool does have some redeeming qualities. The game's physics engine is impressive and the controls are generally smooth and responsive. The game can also be a good way to relax and unwind after a long day.

Overall, Pure Pool on PS4 is a game that looks and sounds impressive, but ultimately falls short in many ways. The lack of variety in the gameplay and the lack of real sense of progression can make the game feel like a tedious time waster rather than a satisfying gaming experience. While the game does have some redeeming qualities, it's probably best to look elsewhere for a more satisfying pool game experience.
