I used this game to improve my Spanish vocabulary. I'm currently a A2 learner in Spanish and I found the words it taught were a bit more basic than I wanted. But, it was still fun to start from the beginning with the game's basic but pretty addictive gameplay. They have different stages to choose from and you can also customize the set of words you want to work with. There are some limits, but it's not much of a problem if you're going at it slow. (Recommended if you actually want to absorb the words you learn.) I played this game about a year ago now, and I still kind of remember the vocabulary I learned from here.

It does get a little repetitive eventually. I stopped playing about a month in. I was itching to play something that had actual gameplay and Trancelation's dark and neon backdrops became a little tedious.

If you're a complete beginner, this is perfect for you. The words and its scaling are pretty much the same across all of its languages, so you can juggle languages if you want.
