Name: A step in the right direction but...
Item: Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Rating: 7

Arceus brings a fresh and interesting new format to the franchise, it has a good idea behind it but falls short as a RPG. It has a boring world, repetitive gameplay, simple mechanics, and uninteresting story and characters. The new battle system also fails to be complex. The game would not have gained much attention if it was not for its novelty as a Pokemon game. It only got high reviews due to being new game in a very popular franchise and not because of its quality as a RPG.
