Name: A great, but confusing adventure!
Item: Hob: The Definitive Edition

This game reminds me a lot about old school legend of zelda games. This game is a lot about exploration and environmental puzzle solving. Love it!

This game is a bit confusing though. There is no dialogue. There’s not a lot of hints, but honestly, I think it’s part of the charm. The story is told through the environment, but it’s worth it for the ending. Ooof that ending I love.

A bit of a spoiler, but in the end, you’ll have two choices — and both of them ARE COMPELLING.

I recommend this to those who crave adventure, sleuthing and theorizing.

Performance wise, it’s not the greatest but it’s not so bad. This game is definitely prettier on other platforms. On the switch, it better docked than handheld, but that didn’t stop me from playing mostly handheld.

There are some glitches and clipping, but it’s not too bad. It doesn’t make the game unplayable, thankfully. I also experienced some dropped frames during some non-playable scenes but it’s not too bad.

Music was also a bit lacking for me. It’s too quiet too often. Maybe they were trying to add to the atmosphere, but I totally just listed to youtube videos while playing instead.

This game goes on sale often. With the price i got it on, i say it’s more than worth it.
