Reviewing for single player campaign. This game feels like all the tropes from Battlefield and Call of Duty rolled into one. The cover mechanics are interesting seeing as how it won't last long if it keeps getting shot at. The weapons are your basic ones: assault rifles, machine guns, personal defense weapons, and pistols.

I do think the mechanic of switching from character to character at points in the story was pretty cool, but not enough to make it interesting. The story is god-awful and the campaigns are way too short; though they should be as shallow as the storytelling is.

The gunplay mechanics are okay, but could use some fit and finish. Not enough customization to the weapons. I think Crysis set the precedent for weapon customization and first person shooter games and I hate that not many have followed.

Good game if you're into an unscrew your brain, sit it next to you for a couple of hours, play through, then screw it back on.
