Just an amazing game all around. Characters start out a little tropey, but they develop into these great characters that you can’t help but care about. The music is great, and the battle system is one of the best that I’ve had the chance to experience. The story is a bit slow in the beginning, but it becomes something great that sets up the rest of the series. My only real complaint is how repetitive it can feel towards the end of the game. Every chapter consists of you doing chores at school then going on a field study, and it started feeling tedious after a while. The characters, music, and battle system kept it interesting though.
