Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero is an amazing sequel to the Budokai Tenkaichi games. It has a huge roster like Tenkaichi 3, fast gameplay, and a reliable input system. The story deserves a great appreciation as the content is humungous for a DBZ/DBS fan. The potential routes of the stories are actually different from each other unlike shin budokai or xenoverse games. Those who are playing for the first time have hours of unseen gameplay and stories waiting for them. The combat has been speed up to a point where it feels like an action game. Most of the mechanics are fairly simple for veterans while introducing new mechanics like revenge counter. Overall it is a fun game to play. Some cons do exist that steers away a user from seeing this game's true potential. The biggest is the visuals and the User Interface, which feels like taken from Xenoverse 2 which had been crappy since forever. The cinematics of rush attacks dont strike as impactful as that of Tenkaichi 3. The character select icons are mediocre. Explosions feel like cartoonish with super quick transition. And some occasional bugs. But once you bypass these cons, you have an amazing game with MASSIVE support from Modding Community that keeps the game alive and interesting. Online gameplay is also pretty great. And thanks to adding split screen, you can play offline pvp in any stage reliving the classic tenkaichi legacy. 8.5/10
