Speedollama is a fast-paced run & gun in the vein of Metal Slug or Contra. The game sets out on a wild campaign as the 3 Llama Warrior are enlisted to assassinate all the evil Alpaca forces. Thankfully, the story is both humorous and playful that doesn't need to be taken seriously.

Since picking up the controller I've been smiling ear to ear with how fun the tone of the game and rapid the action unfolds on screen. My experience on PlayStation 5 is very well received with no framerate loss even during high action scenes. Sadly, the game does suffer from some rather dull upgrades, but overall, the game is a must play for fans of retro Run & Gun titles! I strongly recommend and eager to see what the developers do with this title in the future.

The best aspects of this title can be summed up with-

1. Hilarious and off-beat Campaign mode that never disappoints
2. Tight and responsive controls
3. Good character variety between the 3 Llama warriors
4. Totally enjoyable splatterfest with enemies getting turned into pools of blood

Some of the areas for improvement include -->

1. Dull pickups like Rocket Launcher that feel like a debuff
2. Lack of end-game content with no unlockable skins
3. No online or local multiplayer would definitely make this a perfect 10
