The dlc offers a good punch of bloodborne experience in broad daylight while retaining the difficulty element. The unpredictable element in the main game could be described as "shocking" while the dlc counterpart could be described as "surprising". A decent number of trick weapons, good enemy variety and a not too long gameplay makes it worth playing without feeling of abandoning the game at any point. Unfortunately, not all trick weapons in dlc can be tried without playing some extra time
