What a game.

I am not a fan of horror games, never was, never will.

But I am a fan of horror movies.

And this game provided such a great mix of horror movies like The Thing, Color out of Space and Harbinger Down.

I want to start out first with the negatives before I go with the positives.

First is the ending. What a bummer. I wont spoil it but lets just say, it feels like it was all for nothing.

Second, is the quick-time events. With how the game feels so cinematic you tend to forget that their are quick-time events. It pulls you out of the immersion at times.

Now for the positives.

Its a bundle. its the dialogue, the music and the sequence and transition of events.

What a thrill.

It feels like you are not in a horror game but in a horror movie.

The monster encounters are brilliant. The sounds they make truly sets the atmosphere of dread.

This is a story driven game so I cannot explain much without spoiling the game.

All I can say is, play this gem.

This is so far, the best horror game of 2024.
