I've played several games with the same idea: Dawn of Man and Banished come to mind. They have very similar mechanics. Manor Lords is a beautiful, much more polished version of the two games mentioned. What it does, it does really well. The progression, while slow even at max speed, feels rewarding. **It just doesn't introduce meaningful mechanics** that I haven't tried before. It's still in early access, so this review is a work-in-progress and I'll continue to until the game is fully launched.
