Pokémon with guns? Yes it is.

This game came out of nowhere and just curb-stopped Baldur's Gate 3, not giving a flying F about it being 2023's game-of-the-year status.
Critics loved and hated it.
And as for me, I loved it.
Lets go over the Pros.
- It's got a large number of Pals to collect. Each with their own skills and traits.
- Pal tools provide more interaction and utility to your pals. Caught yourself a Nightwing? Learn the saddle tool to fly anywhere.
- The numerous amount of crafting you can create. Especially unlockable Ancient Technology crafts.
- Capture not just Pals, but enemies such as the syndicate. Yes, human slavery. Just like in Conan Exiles.
- Vast open world with dungeons and boss fight arenas.
- Shooting a Lamball with a musket at close range never gets old.
- Pals can be used to maintain and do chores in your camp such as mining, farming, lumber etc.
Now for the Cons.
- I hate the leveling process. It can be such a grind to level up from 25 to 40. It is extremely slow.
- Needs more interesting NPCs to provide not just low effort dialogue but also provide sub quests or extra objectives.
- Lack of open world activities such as joining factions. That would be amazing if it had one.
Since this game is early access, I look forward to many more upcoming updates on this amazing game.
Yes, it is nuttier than squirrel shit but that's just the amount of crazy we need in todays games.
Triple A games have been failing cause they keep playing it safe. Now comes Palworld and decides to provide gameplay that is totally outside of the box.
Don't care if its absurd. What matters the most is, is it fun to play? And yes. Yes, it is.
